Nice colors, incredibly saturated even for Kodak Ektar 100. Is this because of the filter?

The Kodak Ektar 100 is very impressive! The colors were intensifed due to the low setting sun, warming filter, and the color profile my film scanner uses for the Ektar. I plan to use it much more in the future.

Yes I love the Ektar.
If you haven't tried already I would suggest you take a look at Kodaks other new versions of Portra 160 and 400. Also very nice, much better than before.

I have been meaning to try out the Portra 160 since Fuji stopped making their 160S. I also did hear myself that the newer generation of Portra film are much better, like you said.

Cape Lookout is definitely my most favorite lighthouse to visit. I go
about two to three times a year

you are lucky. i actually volunteer at my local lighthouse but i think yours is actually much more beautiful.

Thanks! I tried to volunteer at Cape Lookout but due to its isolation they would require me to bring a friend. Only my fiance would do this but her schedule would not allow her too take off 1 month from real life. Also I am not a local to the area around the lighthouse so I wouldn't be at the top of the list.
